What types of boats are available in your fleet?
Pacific Boating operates three ‘Classes’ of Sea Ray sports cruisers: our 32-foot, 44- foot, and 52-foot models. All our boats are Sea Ray Sundancers. These three classes offer a variety of facilities and amenities designed to suit most boating requirements.
What is a sports cruiser?
A sports cruiser is a versatile vessel that offers a balanced boating experience. They provide comfortable cruising with a cabin and full-size toilet/s and also possess sufficient performance to quickly reach your desired destinations.
How many people can sleep on the boats?
You can sleep up to 6 people overnight on our 44-foot boats, and up to 7 people overnight on our 52-foot. The 32-foot boats are designed for day use only and do not accommodate overnight stays.
Do you supply life jackets for kids?
Yes, we supply children’s life jackets. However, if your child is an infant or unusually small for their age, we highly recommend you bring your own life jacket to ensure it perfectly suits their specific needs and weight, providing you with complete peace of mind.
Do the boats have maps and navigation equipment?
Yes, all our boats are equipped with maps of the waterways appropriate to their operating area. They also feature full flat-screen GPS navigation plotters with dynamic maps displaying depths, distances, and key navigation information to assist you in planning and safely navigating your cruise.
Can I have food and drink delivered to the marina?
While we do not facilitate the ordering of food for your cruise, you are welcome to have it delivered directly to the marina. Our friendly team will then bring it down to your boat and can assist with placing it into the fridges if chilling is required.
Do I need to bring my own bedding and towels?
What are the key differences between the 32-foot, 44-foot, and 52-foot boats?
Beyond their size, each class features unique layouts, facilities, and amenities tailored to different usage needs.
- 32-foot Class: These boats feature twin petrol outboards and a full-width bow ride area with a smart cockpit layout that maximizes space. The 32-footer is ideal for day boating, accommodating up to 8 people. It includes two fridges, one full-size toilet (which also functions as a wet room with a shower), and a transom shower for rinsing off after swimming. There is a small, comfortable cabin downstairs for shelter from the elements on your cruise. The cockpit layout is flexible to comfortably seat your crew. As the 32-foot boats are not equipped with a generator, their microwave only operates on shore power at a marina. For this reason, we recommend bringing pre-prepared food and drink. These boats do not include cutlery, plates, or bowls; members are advised to bring a picnic style set up should you wish to.
- 44-foot Class: The 44-foot class is designed for versatility. Its spacious cockpit with booth-style seating around a table makes it an excellent choice for gatherings with family, friends, or clients. The 44-footer is equipped with an onboard generator, allowing operation of amenities such as a BBQ, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, stove, TVs, and air conditioning downstairs. This boat is comfortable for up to 6 people overnight and can accommodate a maximum of 12 people during the day. The 44s feature a fridge and a freezer, as well as an additional fridge in the cockpit. They are comprehensively equipped with 12 of everything needed for dining and entertaining, including plates (large and small), bowls, cups, wine glasses, champagne flutes, water glasses, knives, tongs, barbecue implements, bottle openers, and platters. Please note that bedding is not currently provided on our 44-foot boats.
- 52-foot Class: The 52-foot class offers an enhanced level of space and comfort, perfect for entertaining clients, staff, or family. It boasts a double forward cabin, a guest bunk cabin, and double ensuites with showers, making it an ideal choice for multi-day bookings on Sydney Harbour or Pittwater. Our 52-footers include the same “creature comforts” as the 44-footers, with the additional 8 feet providing significant extra space, especially beneficial for larger groups. For overnight stays, sheets and pillowcases are provided. however, members will need to bring any other desired bedding and towels.
Do I need to bring my own cutlery, plates, or cooking equipment?
Our 32-foot boats, being designed for day use, do not come equipped with cutlery, plates, or bowls. For these boats, we recommend bringing your own picnic set should you wish. Our 44-foot and 52-foot boats are comprehensively equipped with 12 settings of everything, including large and small plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, champagne flutes, water glasses, knives, tongs, barbecue implements, bottle openers, and platters, to suit the maximum number of people on board.
Do the boats have amenities like coffee machines or microwaves?
Yes, our 44-foot and 52-foot boats are equipped with amenities such as coffee machines, toasters, kettles, and microwaves. The 32-foot boat has a microwave, but as it’s not equipped with a generator, the microwave only operates when connected to shore power at a marina. For all boats, you will need to bring your own food and drinks.
Can I keep my food cool on the boat?
Yes, all our boats are equipped with fridges, which operate off the battery and function while on the water. Our 44-foot and 52-foot boats also include a freezer and an additional fridge located in the cockpit.
Will my phone connect to the boat to play music?
All our boats feature stereo sound systems with dual head units down in the cabin and up in the cockpit. You’re able to connect to these systems via Bluetooth through your phone. In addition, our 42 and 52-foot boats feature Wi-Fi, which you will be able to utilize for playing music rather than using your own data. The password to access the Wi-Fi will be on the weather report that you’re provided each day, but feel free to ask our operations teams on the day for those details should you need them.
